Jigardan Gadhavi — Ahmedabad singer, composer and Navratri voice
Jigardan Gadhavi, also known as Jigrra, is a Gujarati playback singer, songwriter, music director and live performer from Ahmedabad. He was born on 29 June 1991. He plays guitar and harmonium, and he started writing tunes in primary school. His mother, Janakben, bought him a keyboard in class 6 from her monthly savings. He later completed a bachelor's degree in physiotherapy at JG College of Physiotherapy in Ahmedabad. Fans call him Jigrra because of the way a hall answers him on stage.
He has been releasing music since 2014, on Zee Music Company, Krup Music, Red Ribbon Musik and his own Jigrra Production. The work splits in two: film songs that stay on playlists all year, and non-stop garba albums that Navratri crowds already know before the first dhol. His site is jigardangadhavi.com.
