Pradhyuman Zoological Park (popularly known as Rajkot Zoo), situated near Lalpari Lake on the eastern outskirts of the city, is one of the most modern, spacious, and well-maintained ecological zoological parks in Gujarat. Spanning over 137 acres of natural undulating terrain, the zoo provides naturalistic open-moated enclosures for wildlife conservation and family education.
The primary highlight of Pradhyuman Zoo is its majestic population of Asiatic lions, native to the Saurashtra peninsula. Visitors can observe lions, Indian leopards, white tigers, and Bengal tigers roaming in expansive, natural landscaped habitats.
