Late Night Food in Delhi: Best Street Food Hubs & Midnight Eats

Delhi's passion for food is legendary, and the city’s appetite continues long after midnight. From historic 24-hour dhabas and late-night butter chicken joints to sweet kulfi stalls and highway food drives, Delhi offers diverse late-night culinary options.

For late-night dining in Central Delhi, Pandara Road Market near India Gate serves North Indian dishes until past midnight. Restaurants here are famous for rich Butter Chicken, Dal Makhani, soft butter naans, and seekh kebabs. It is a long-standing tradition for families, travelers, and groups to gather here for midnight meals.

In Old Delhi, the food street opposite Jama Masjid Gate No. 1 comes alive in the evening with seekh kebabs, fried chicken, mutton nihari, and hot rumali rotis. Follow your savory feast with cooling Shahi Tukda topped with rabdi or a glass of the famous Mohabbat Ka Sharbat. Nearby in Chandni Chowk, Paranthe Wali Gali serves traditional deep-fried stuffed parathas filled with paneer, aloo, rabdi, or khoya, served with sweet pumpkin and tamarind chutneys.

For night drives, heading north along the Delhi-Ambala Highway toward Murthal (approx. 50 km) is a popular midnight ritual. Highway dhabas serve tandoori parathas with white butter (safed makhan) and hot masala chai throughout the night.
